MOPS Mom Spotlight: Tiffany Lake

This week’s MOPS Mom Spotlight is Tiffany Lake.

Her favorite pastime is arguing with her husband… about who gets to go out and surf first! Tiffany is a Southern California native who has called San Clemente home since she was 19 years old. She is an outdoor enthusiast who was lucky enough to find a partner who shares the same passion. Tiffany and her family spend a lot of time at the beach - you’ll find them most weekends at Uppers or Middles. It makes sense that Tiffany’s favorite sound is the sound of waves crashing.

Tiffany and her family like striking out on camping adventures. It doesn’t matter the landscape - beach, mountains or desert. They do not discriminate. Tiffany holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography, which she obtained months before becoming a mom. Perhaps it’s her love of study of different places and the relationship to the people in those environments that inspire such varied travel. Or, maybe they just really, really love the outdoors! However, they draw the line at tent camping and prefer the comfort of their trailer. With three year old daughter, Stone, and 1 year old son, Hux, we can’t say we blame them for choosing comfort!

Tiffany currently works from home part-time as Camp Director for Summer Soul Surf Camp and as an assistant for a pool plastering company. Between two part-time jobs, a full-time job as a mom and wife, Tiffany doesn’t reserve much free time. However, if she’s lucky enough to find a few minutes to spare, she loves to hole up on the couch and watch NETFLIX or enjoy an iced coffee on her deck… outside! Did we mention she loves the outdoors?! What you won’t find her doing in her spare time: laundry. It’s a bad word.
